This is a very interesting timepiece! NOS! Yes, this is a NEW OLD STOCK timepiece. It is a vintage Hamilton Accumatic A-652 wristwatch. The model number (stamp on the case back) indicates that this watch is dated from 1968.

"Hamilton's lineup of automatic (self winding) movements is an entire genre of watch collecting unto itself." The first Hamilton automatic watches were introduced in 1954. Over the next 16 years, many different automatic watch models were introduced with prefixes like "Accumatic", "Thin-o-matic" or just "Automatic". Also, Auto's with calendar functions were often part of the Dateline series. The Accumatic line of watches was introduced in 1956 and produced well into the 1970's, "a pretty good run for a model line."

"They typically used ETA-based automatic movements and Hamilton's modern day watches still do. So I suppose you could say that they've been in constant production for over 60 years."

This is a manual wind watch, inside the case the typical Hamilton Accumatic caliber 63 (ETA 2451), Hamilton movement grade 689, 17 jewels, sweep second, Swiss made. 47 hours power reserve and 18,000 a/h.

Stunningly styled! This is a 34mm round case and lug design, solid case (open through the crystal), all in 10K yellow gold filled.

In perfect condition, the stunning and original champagne textured sunburst dial with gold Arabic Numerals, hour marks, dot minute marks and gold matching hands as well. The dial is signed with the Hamilton name and logo, also "automatic".

This watch is ALL original, NOS! It is coming with the original (signed Hamilton) brown alligator leather two-piece strap.

After 50 years, it is still a very interesting watch! Not very common to find in this condition! It is in LOVELY condition! Runs very well, keeps great time.

Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
