The first watch Elgin made, an 18 sized B W Raymond railroad grade watch, was finished in 1867 and over the next 100 years, they went on to produce about 60 million watches. Another nice and cool American timepiece, this is a vintage Elgin DuraPower wristwatch, reference 4254 and dated from the late 1950s or early 1960s.
It is a manual wind watch powered by an original Elgin movement caliber grade 752, 19 jewels, 18,000 A/h, 40 hours power reserve, made in U.S.A.

Still the original champagne dial gold hour marks and gold matching hands. The dial is signed with the Elgin name, the DuraPower logo and 19 Jewels.
Cased in a 29.6mm round case with fancy lug design, base metal bezel and stainless-steel back. It comes with a new-old-stock black Genuine Lizard two-piece strap.
This watch is a perfect collector's item, it is in good condition. Runs very well and keeps great time!
